Israel, Bet She'an, Bet She'an National Park, The ruins of the city of Scythopolis, a Roman city in northern Israel. During the Roman era, it was one of the most important of the Decapolis cities. The city was destroyed by an earthquake in 749 AD, causing these columns to fall.
